Punishingly Hard
Theres this trend in new games where the developers take a very simple premise and make it ridiculously hard. I guess it saves having to spend all that time on "content" because your players spend hours trying to pass a single level.
Some people really really like this. Look at the popularity of an app with a certain bird that flaps. I, for one, dont like these types of games. They frustrate me and dont hold my interest for long. Maybe I just dont have great reflexes, but I just dont get the fun in playing the same 10 seconds of a game over and over because I didnt press the screen at the exact right millisecond.
Essentially this game is like flappy bird in a tunnel. It gets some credit for the beautiful design and multiple levels (of which Ive only ever seen three). Clearly a lot of people love these types of games, but if you dont like this style either then this game isnt a great use of your money.
